Spam + Blog = Splog : How Is It Affecting The Blogosphere? : Somewhat Frank ~ Blog
I was just reading over at SomewhatFrank about Splog. Well spamming weblogs is nothing new, but it has now risen to a point where they have given it a name Splog. Franks post includes some great information as well as a link to Mark Cuban’s post on the subject.

In closing Frank quotes Mark Cuban and I think it is appropriate here as well:

“The intellectual property that is available in the blogosphere is an amazing source of ideas, facts and imagination. Now is the time to do something before the splog overwhelms it and make it difficult to discover new and exciting blogs.”

Something Frank is another Blog like Likelihood Of Confusion, by Ron Coleman, that DS readers would enjoy. Perhaps I should reconsider adding a couple of bloggers with similar interests to DS to the links….
